The client came to us with a clear vision: to redesign their lower level and create extensive wine storage worthy of a treasured collection. As the daughter of a nationally recognized winemaker, she inherited a large, valuable assortment of bottles that deserved both organization and elegant display. We preserved the original sofa and layout to maintain comfort and flow, then introduced a stylish new wall serving as a snack bar and liquor storage, perfectly positioned to showcase the wine room. Keeping the existing Aegean Teal paint, we layered in warm, grounding elements to balance the open, airy feel with cozy sophistication.

THE REDESIGN
The project focused on designing ample and functional wine storage that honors the client’s inherited collection and family legacy. We maintained the comfortable, open flow of the existing lower level by preserving key furniture and the original layout. A new dual-purpose wall was created to serve as both a chic snack bar and a stylish liquor display, adding functionality and visual interest. The existing Aegean Teal color scheme was retained to keep the airy feel, while warmer, grounding accents were introduced to bring balance and depth. Overall, the design elevates the space with an elegant yet inviting atmosphere that thoughtfully blends style and practicality.
